Moving on to case studies

Tags:

I am now writing my case studies. One chapter for each type of interactive documentary: hypertext, conversational, participative and experiential. This is actually quite good fun!! To see the theory fit with the practice is very exciting. At time I feel as I am blabbing on… or maybe forcing things so that it fits my argument… but over all I am discovering the finesses of the case studies that I have chosen… and this I enjoy very much!

I wanted to congratulate you on your ability to juggle so many activities – Respect! But also to thank you for rekindling my interest is docs, particularly interactivity. Having attempted this form with several early interactive museum exhibits – exploring the decline of regional industries back in the mid 90s – I kinda gave up through frustration, more the pity! But, the themes for this site is to be applauded! All the best with the PhD as well

    Thanks Ian!!!
Your words are precious to me… Lately the organization of i-Docs, and the e-mails that I have been receiving because of it, have really boosted my energy! I now need to use such energy to finish the PhD!!!! Hopefully soon…
